My name is Meghan Chase.
I thought it was over. That my time with the fey, the impossible choices I had to make, the sacrifices of those I loved, was behind me. But a storm is approaching, an army of Iron fey that will drag me back, kicking and screaming. Drag me away from the banished prince who's sworn to stand by my side. Drag me into the core of conflict so powerful, I'm not sure anyone can survive it.
This time, there will be no turning back.
I love this series, Julie Kagawa is a wonderfully gifted writer. She has created a wonderful world, each installment I am sucked back into her world. In this installment there are twists and turns galore. The faery world that has been created is so well crafted!
Iron Queen picks right up where Iron Princess left off. I and so surprised that each story gets better. Which since I loved the first two installments that is pretty hard to believe.
Just when you think you know what will happen zing... Ms Kagawa hits you with another twist. I even love love the supporting characters, Evil get eviler *questions if that is a word, but I am good with it* Love gets more intense. You will pick this book up and not put it down until you get to the end. And what an end it is!!
I am dying to get my hands on Book 4 which is Ash's story - The Iron Knight. So I have to give Iron Queen, drum roll please ======>
Here is your opportunity to get your hands on the latest Iron Fey novel... I am giving away a copy of Iron Queen!!! ohhhhh yes I am.

ReplyDeleteI would have to say that my all time favorite book has to be Garth Nix's Abhorsen Trilogy (Sabriel book #1, Lirael book #2, and Abhorsen book #3). I must admit I wasn't an avid reader when I was in high school *gasp* but when I picked up Sabriel the first book in the series it made me want to read again. I fell in love with books and I've been devouring them ever since then (including Mrs. Kagawa's Iron Fey series which I love!) :-)
I'd love to win the Iron Queen and I can't wait to read it thanks for the giveaway!

Good luck to everyone!
My favorite books would have to be The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare!

Oh this is a tough one. Probably a three way tie between Rachel Vincent's Shifter series, Cassie Clare's Mortal Instruments, and Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy. I seriously can't choose between them. They all hold a special place in my heart. Of course there are other books that I absolutely adore as well. ;)

My all-time favorite is probably "Time Enough for Love" by Robert A. Heinlein. It gets kind of weird toward the end, but the main character is an exemplary human being. :)

Thanks!!!
The Giver by Lois Lowry. It's the first book I read that I couldn't stop thinking about and it fueled my need to read.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite book of all time is really 3 books, but as they're sometimes smushed together in an omnibus, i hope it's ok to cheat. His Dark Materials (Golden Compass, Subtle Knife, and Amber Spyglass) are the most beautifully imagined, gorgeously written books I've ever read. And they had me scratching my head long after, contemplating snippets of string theory that are WAY over my head. I love Pullman. I am obsessed actually. If I were on his continent, he might consider a restraining order.

Number the Stars by Lois Lowry is my favorite book ever. I had to read in in 5th grade and it was the first book I remember reading that sucked me in.

That is such a hard one to answer. I think I've got around 10 "favorites" lol. I guess if I had to pick just one, I think Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. There are a lot of books that once I open them, I finish them in one sitting...Breaking Dawn was one of those. Is it weird that I now feel like I cheated on my other faves? LOL, I also love all things Cassandra Clare, Fitzpatrick, Desrochers, Creamer, Kate, and of course Kawaga. There...now I don't feel so bad haha.
ReplyDeleteThanks for an awesome contest!!

I have lots of favorites, so my "current favorite" changes depending on what series I'm rereading at the moment. Right now, I'd have to say So You Want To Be A Wizard by Diane Duane. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for doing this contest! :D
