Now how cool is this!
Thanks to HarperCollins site, they have put the entire first book of the Darkest Powers series online for free! Check out The Summoning by Kelly Armstrong.

Book Description
My name is Chloe Saunders and my life will never be the same again.
All I wanted was to make friends, meet boys, and keep on being ordinary. I don't even know what that means anymore. It all started on the day that I saw my first ghost—and the ghost saw me.
Now there are ghosts everywhere and they won't leave me alone. To top it all off, I somehow got myself locked up in Lyle House, a "special home" for troubled teens. Yet the home isn't what it seems. Don't tell anyone, but I think there might be more to my housemates than meets the eye. The question is, whose side are they on? It's up to me to figure out the dangerous secrets behind Lyle House . . . before its skeletons come back to haunt me. Click here to read the entire book or just Browse it.

Waiting on Wednesday, Bite Me by Christopher Moore

Jill over at Breaking the Spine started and I found it on the Ravenous Reader blog. I agree it is a great idea. This blog post is to alert those that visit about "the" book that we cannot wait to get our hands on.

This week I have found that there will be another bloodsucking fiends book! SOOOO DOES HAPPY DANCE! If you have not read Christopher Moore beloved series I suggest you do!

Here is a copy of Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program

By Susan Tunis (San Francisco, CA) - See all my reviews
Rawr is totally a thing..., January 22, 2010
In my rave review of Moore's last novel, Fool, I implied that his novels inspired by Shakespeare and the Bible are more substantive than his fluffier San Francisco/Pine Cove novels. This latest novel, Bite Me, has me rethinking that statement. Funny, it is. Fluffy, it is not. Bite Me is the third (and final?) novel in the Bloodsucking Fiends series. The first novel in a great series is always special because it's our introduction to a new world. That said, this latest installment just might be the best. What I can tell you is this: I found it to be darker, scarier, more suspenseful, and at least as funny as the previous novels. And in addition to all of the above, it's genuinely moving. These characters have been my friends for more than a decade now. I've grown to care about them.

The novel opens pretty much in the immediate wake of You Suck. The opening chapter is the first of many that are narrated by the unforgettable Abby Normal, self-proclaimed "emergency back-up mistress of the greater Bay Area night." Abby begins by providing a dizzying (and helpful) recap of the first two novels, but I'd strongly suggest you read Bloodsucking Fiends: A Love Story and You Suck: A Love Story before tackling this one. She and Foo Dog still inhabit the "love lair." Jody and Tommy are still encased in bronze. Chet, the huge shaved vampire cat is on the prowl. And all of our favorite San Franciscans are back: the Emperor, Bummer, and Lazarus; the Animals; cops Rivera and Cavuto; the folks from Asher's Secondhand Store; and others. And Moore fans, a beloved past character who's never shown up in San Francisco before makes an unexpected appearance in a supporting role. Be careful what you read about this novel. It would be a shame to ruin the surprise!

I don't want to summarize the plot. It's too crazy, it lurches in all sorts of unexpected directions, and why should I ruin your fun? What I can tell you is that I was completely surprised by the novel's ending. Earlier I said this novel is darker, scarier, and more suspenseful. (At this point I should admit that I'm a total wuss who's afraid of horror movies and rollercoasters.) Still, characters are placed in real jeopardy. Not all will survive. And I was definitely on the edge of my seat for large stretches of the novel. That Moore can maintain this level of tension while being spit-milk-out-your-nose funny is astonishing. I didn't actually spit any milk out of my nose. I read this novel while laid up with the flu. Every time I laughed out loud it started a coughing jag. I nearly coughed up a lung, but I just couldn't put it down! If that's not a recommendation, what is? Despite aphorisms about old dogs and new tricks, I have to say it: I think Chris Moore is getting better. I've been a hardcore fan for years, and that is saying quite a bit.

Thanks t0 Susan for such a great discription!~! There was no discription on Amazon for it soo I snictched hers..
Sooo needless to say I will be getting this one as soon as I can get my little hands on it.~!~ That's my Waiting on Wednesday what is yous??

Time for a Give A Way! Larissa Ione's ECSTASY UNVEILED

I think it is time for another give-away! Larissa Ione's ECSTASY UNVEILED
Thanks to Anna from Hatchet group I will be able to give away 5 copies!~! Woooo to the hoooo!
A bit about the author.....
I began writing the way so many writers do—the moment I learned to wield a pencil. But even as a child, I didn't write "kid" stories. I preferred something more dramatic. Something that didn't include Dick, Jane, and a dog named Spot. I wanted my characters to be named Dracula and my dogs to have names like White Fang or Cujo. I'll always have my parents to thank for that. They never censored my reading material (though I suspect that if they had truly known what was between the covers of some of the books, they'd have been a little more careful,) so when other girls my age were reading Laura Ingalls Wilder and Judy Blume, I was immersing myself in Stephen King and Dean Koontz.

Later, after I'd joined the Air Force and was in dire need of something to read between shifts at the weather station, I continued to read horror, but I'd branched out into fantasy, and then, finally, romance (though I admit I went kicking and screaming to the latter.)

Turned out that I loved romance! So I started writing it, but again, my style and voice leaned toward the dark, paranormal side. Fortunately for me, paranormal romance, as a sub-genre, was booming. I let my imagination fly, and soon I'd sold a series of dark, sexy paranormal romances to Grand Central Publishing.

I still read a lot of horror, science fiction, and fantasy, and in fact, one of my all time favorite books about writing is On Writing, by my favorite childhood horror author, Stephen King. If you're an author or a reader, I highly recommend this book for an insight into an author's mind—which can sometimes be a very scary place.

Go ahead; Seduce your dark side.

Larissa is a new author for me, I have her 3 other books in this series in my TBR pile! My Peeps on Goodreads have been pimpin her for a long time.
So this is very exciting! Ecstasy Unveiled is the fourth book in .The Demonica Series.

By Larissa Ione
Lore is a Seminus half-breed demon who has been forced to act as his dark master's assassin. Now to earn his freedom and save his sister's life, he must complete one last kill. Powerful and ruthless, he'll stop at nothing to carry out this deadly mission.

Idess is an earthbound angel with a wild side, sworn to protect the human Lore is targeting. She's determined to thwart her wickedly handsome adversary by any means necessary-even if that means risking her vow of eternal chastity. But what begins as a simple seduction soon turns into a passion that leaves both angel and demon craving complete surrender.

Torn between duty and desire, Lore and Idess must join forces as they battle their attraction for each other. Because an enemy from the past is rising again-one hellbent on vengeance and unthinkable destruction.

Review: Bitten By Cupid

Vampire Valentine by Lynsay Sands
Mirabeau LaRouche knew she had a job to do, but she never expected her assignment to take her through New York City′s dark, dank underground-in her bridesmaid gown, no less! And when her partner turns out to be mortal private investigator Tiny McGraw, Mireabeau knows it′s no ordinary Cupid′s arrow that has struck her heart this Valentine′s Day.

Review: I have been a fan of the Argeneau Series since I first found this fun Vamp Family. This time we get to visit with some of our Favorites! With the long awaited Multiple Weddings!
While Tiny McGraw has his private eye duties to help get a young new vamp to safety. He is a bit worried when he finds out that the Matriarch of the family has suggested him for the job... His new partner is Mirabeau a Rogue Hunter. She has a brokenhearted past and has never opened herself up for love. But when Marguerite interferes it usually means someone is going to fall in Love. This was a wonderful companion to the Beloved Argeneau series. It left me wanting much more. So I will be anxiously awaiting the next installment Fall 2010 – Born to Bite - Armand’s story – Book 13

Hearts Untamed by Pamela Palmer
Ten years ago Zeeland left D.C. to join the Therian Guard, needing to put some distance between himself and the still-too-young Julianne. Now he′s returned, in the midst of a Valentine′s celebration to find Julianne more beautiful than ever, still angry at him for leaving, and up to her lovely eyebrows in an intrigue that threatens both of their immortal lives.
Review: Pamela Palmer is a new Author for me! And I have to say WOW! I soo enjoyed this short story that I have ordered the rest of the Feral Warrior books.
This is a stand alone story so you wont get lost not knowing what the previous stories were. Julianne is a beautiful young woman with a secret. No one around her seems to see through her deceptions that all is well, until Zeeland returns unexpectedly. At once he knows there is something a miss. What ensues is a well crafted story of love and fruition. This story will wet your appetite for more of this world.

Kiss and Kill Cupid by Jamie Rush
Kat Morgan has no use for Valentine′s Day, since hearing other people′s thoughts puts a real damper on any kind of intimate relationship. When she overhears the Killer Cupid serial killer targeting her for his Valentine′s Day murder, Kat is terrified. But is Adrian, the one man whose thoughts she can′t hear, her savior, or killer?
Review: Jamie Rush has penned a interesting story about a woman, Kat Morgan. She has a special gift, she can hear the thoughts of everyone around her. When she enters a coffee shop for the job interview of her dreams, she hears the thought of a killer... Who could it be.
She looks around and sees no one especially sinister. She goes and joins her perspective new employers, Adrian and Owen. While she having her meeting the killer takes a special interest in her.
