Waiting on Wednesday

Jill over at Breaking the Spine started and I found it on the Ravenous Reader blog. I agree it is a great idea. This blog post is to alert those that visit about "the" book that we cannot wait to get our hands on.

First Drop of Crimson by Jeaniene Frost
Book One in the Night Huntress World
Coming February 9, 2010!
The night is not safe for mortals. Denise MacGregor knows all too well what lurks in the shadows – her best friend is half-vampire Cat Crawfield – and she has already lost more than the average human could bear. But her family’s dark past is wrapped in secrets and shrouded in darkness – and a demon shapeshifter has marked Denise as prey.

“First Drop of Crimson is a passionate and tantalizing tale, filled with dark sensuality and fast-paced action. The lead couple is irresistible – a gutsy heroine to cheer for and a smoldering hero to die for. An unforgettable story!”
– Kresley Cole, New York Times bestselling author

First Drop of Crimson discription from Rhapsody book club.
Spade wouldn’t mind having a taste of Denise MacGregor. Mortal though she is, she arouses his deepest hungers, and not just for her blood. But at the moment, there are other things to worry about…like the demon shapeshifter that has marked her for death. Denise knows all too well what lurks in the shadows—she barely survived a horrific vampire attack a year ago. Spade is a friend of a friend, but he’s also a vampire, so she can’t quite bring herself to trust him. But demon-fighting makes strange bedfellows, and there’s no denying that she needs him, in more ways than one. Now, as Jeaniene Frost’s First Drop of Crimson unfolds, the two become a formidable pair. But will that be enough when they meet the demon from her nightmares?
Thats my waiting on Wednesday... What is yours??
